Subject to the terms and conditions set out below, we give you the right to use the designated parking bay for the purpose of the storage only.
The use of a parking bay does not grant you a tenancy or exclusive possession ot the land or create any interest on the land.
Charges
Charges are one month in advance by a card payment for bank transfer and thereafter to be paid via Direct Debit.
Charges excludes VAT which will be added at the current rate.
Charges may be reviewed at any time, subject to 30 days notice.
Invoice
A receipted VAT invoice will be supplied following each payment once the funds are cleared
Non payment
For non payment of 7 days or more beyond due date, we reserve the right to clamp and prohabit movement.
Access
You are required to be considerate of local residents as regards to noise and nuisance. Access is normally available at anytime. SelfstoreIW reserve the right to amend these hours of access for any reason after giving notice.
Security
You should ensure the site access gates are locked upon department.
Only you and persons authorised in writing or accompanied by you will be allowed access to the yard.
Our access
In cases of emergency or upon demand of Police, Customs, Fire Services or Court Order, we may access the vehicles/caravan immediately.
Limitations of storage
You warrant that the vehicle/caravans/trailes are your own property or that the person who owns or has an interest in the goods, has given you irrevocable authority to store the vehicle/ caravan and trailers.
Goods shall not include hazardous, corrosive, dangerous or illegal items, such as, but not limited to: hazardous chemicals, guns, ammunition, drugs, foods, animals, flammable materials (such as gas, paint, petrol, oil solvents), asbastos.
It is forbidden to carry on any sort of trading activity from the motorhome/caravan/trailers
from the storage site.
It is forbidden to use the storage site for any activity other than storage of motorhome/
caravan. For instance any form of work on the motorhome/caravan/trailers ( no repairs or maintenance to be carried out.
Termination
After a minimum of 21 days commencement, you may terminate this agreement by
confirming same in writing to SelfstoreIW, giving at least 7 days notice.
Notice by SelfstoreIW
We may terminate the agreement by giving 30 days written notice.
In the case of non payment for 30 days or more. We may terminate the agreement without notice.
Insurance liability and damage
You must arrange your own insurance to cover the value of your Motorhome/caravan/trailer.
We do not insure your motorhome/caravan, nor do we accept any liability for their safekeeping or condition.
Other Matters
The site is an active working area. You are required to obey all safety notices and to keep the site clear or hazards. Please be safe and watch out for the safety of other.
There is no refuse facility on site – you are required to remove all your rubbish from site yourself.
We always seek to provide an excellent service and consistent facility, however from
time to time special circumstances may force us to limit our service or adjust the terms
of the service we provide. We therefore reserve the right to amend the terms and conditons.
We will required indentification of the person/s and a proof of address prior to entering into a agreement.

Storage Container Sizes and Capacity
- Internal length: 5.88 meters or 16 feet 3 inches
- Internal width: 2.33m or 7 feet 7 inches
- Internal height: 2.38m or 7 feet 9 inches
- Capacity: 33.2 cubic meters or 1170 cubic feet
Security
You will need to supply your own padlock to secure your container – sizes are given below.
- Shackle width: 8 – 13mm
- Minimum distance between hasp: 20mm max: 40mm
- Key or combination locks are acceptable

Site access is available 24/7
- Accessible 24/7
- Remember to bring your own padlock to secure your container
- Access space in front of container is 6m
Health & Safety Notes
CAUTION WHEN OPENING GATES AND CONTAINER DOORS IN WINDY CONDITIONS
Accessing main gates and opening gates:
Once gates are open ensure gates are securely latched on the latch post
Opening container doors:
Always open right-hand door first. Remove padlock lift both padlock latches, then lift and pull BOTH handles outward simultaneously this will un-do and it can now be swung open. Repeat on the left-hand door if required. Secure door back to prevent swinging if needed. Reverse procedure to close after use. If there is access wind, please delay opening doors.
Manoeuvring Vehicles:
Please take special attention when manoeuvring especially if you are reversing vehicle as persons could be attending containers on foot.
Be aware and do not cross the high kerb at the end of compound.
Leaving Storage Facility:
On exit of compound please ensure main gates are firmly locked, be careful pulling out onto the road as traffic flow fairly quickly.
